Thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was great and warm with a fine view over the hills, a very comfy double bed and excellent breakfast. The location was super and cozy for traveling around Gosforth, close to the outskirts of the village in a lovely quiet location, the nearby beach and Drigg Sand Dune Beach and Seascale.

We enjoyed kayaking and water skiing, perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding waters. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was fantastic. Definitely book a table at the restaurant on weekends for a better dining experience!
The Wi-Fi in our room didn't work, a bit inconvenient, especially when we needed to check our phones before heading out.

Perfect spot near Wastwater
We stayed for 2 nights and loved Room 16-super spacious and tucked away from the hustle. After hiking all day, the comfy bed was a dream! The big fluffy towels were a nice touch too. The only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. Nice bar area for chilling out after adventures.

The location is perfect for exploring the Lake District. The staff were friendly, always cute. Breakfast each day offered plenty of delicious options, and I particularly loved the Scottish breakfast choices. The room was cozy, clean, and very well maintained with comfortable bedding. Enjoyed relaxing in the bar area in the evenings, great atmosphere. I did face a minor issue with the shower temperature. It often felt tepid rather than warm. The outdoor space was limited, and I felt there could have been more seating available in the dining areas, especially during peak breakfast hours. Despite these hiccups, it definitely didn't overshadow my stay, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Just a top selection for a fleeting trip in Gosforth (Cumbria) with value for money. The staff were friendly and helped us with our luggage. Try to check the room for noise from the games room before settling in.

great stay but lacking some small details
The pod I stayed in had a private and cozy atmosphere. I especially appreciated the friendly staff and the varied breakfast options available.
The location, while private, was a bit far from the main hotel.
